Are u supposed to be barefoot while using a Swiffer?

I'm thinking of Swiffer mop.It seems like a handy device,but when I looked at pictures of people using it,I noticed that most of them were barefoot.Is there any particular reason why this is so?Are you supposed to be barefoot when using a Swiffer?

Update:

I meant to say,I'm thinking of BUYING a Swiffer mop.

    Certainly not, you can go barefoot if you have warm hardwood flooring but not in winter though. I use the Swiffer with slippers on, not an issue. I love my Swiffer because it clears dust and hair.

    I haven't seen one person who was barefoot while using a Swiffer.
