PC performance is trash?

I'm sick and tired of this PC that I have. I thought i'd finally be able to play games to their full potential after spending over £800 on a decent PC, or so I thought it would be. Yes it does run games like Doom or ARK and can display maximum graphics on most games, however there hasn't been a day where I've been able to play without lag or packet loss especially in some games that host a lot of connections like mordhau (36v36 max players per server) I don't know why or what causes packet loss and I've never been given a straight answer, ever since I first encountered it a couple years ago. If you search up "how to fix packet loss" there is not a definitive answer and results are a bunch of hundred-page-long threads that go over different methods, none of which work.

On top of that I happen to be running out of data space and it seems that every external hard drive you can add onto your pc is ridiculously expensive and I don't know how to build it in. I really need some sort of explanation as to why my PC that is supposed to be built for gaming doesn't allow me to game. My PC experiences more crashes and huge lag spikes than pc's that are worth half as much with PC specs that are half as impressive. It makes no sense. Here are my pc specs:

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Six-Core Processor, 3600 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor

BaseBoard Manufacturer ASRock

BaseBoard Product A320M-DGS

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. P4.40

Lag and packet loss in the same sentence tells me you are gaming online and a $10,000 PC can't help your internet connection.

Do you have a contract with your ISP? It's their responsibility to provide you with a stable internet connection which for some stupid reason you don't have and havent had for a couple of years and that's on you. You've been courteous and nice but as for me I would have made sure I am getting what I am paying for.

Please tell the forum your Internet side of things because your PC don't mean diddly at this point.

That means EVERYTHING!!!!!!! from the method of connection to the internet: landline coax, fiber, satellite etc. to the modem, router and everything all the way up to your PC.

What else do you have in your PC? I don't see a graphics card and the 1600x doesn't have integrated graphics.

The 1600x along with only 8GB of RAM doesn't release the full potential of games but it's an okay PC. 16GB is the norm these days.
