Is wearing a snapback hat appropriate for cutting the grass?

A tall man bought a snapback hat, and he gave it to me. He told me that the snapback hat that he gave me is for cutting the grass. I believe not. The snapback hat is not for cutting the grass. It is for walking around outside and other stuff besides cutting the grass. I blamed him for saying that I should wear a snapback hat for cutting the grass, because I should never wear a snapback hat for cutting the grass. I could end up getting a snapback hat dirtier, when I cut the grass. I do not want that to happen like that. Do you think that wearing a snapback hat is appropriate for cutting the grass?
