Are you prevented from practicing your religion, cupcake?

Are you allowed to walk around being the religion you are without harassment or censure from the government, state or federal?

Are you allowed to meet at a church or building where services of your religion take place? Do you have to hide or lie about such meetings so you don't get arrested?

Are the courts of the land deciding if you can practice your religion or not, baby sweetums?

Is your government planning to re-educate you in mass groups at funky camps with lots of barbed wire and armed guards?

    Is...???!!!

    I think you're okay, doll.

Oh hey--Lakota being told they can't protest Trump on their own land.

  • Wait, let's see what the word of God says about the matter?

Deuteronomy 7: 5.But you will do to them like this; you will destroy their altars, you will demolish themstele, you will ravage their sacred woods, you will burn statues in the fireof their gods; because you are the sacred people of the Lord your God, and youchose the Lord your God to be his favorite peopleamong all the peoples that exist on earth.

If you need an iron club to knock down that statue, go to a hardware store, there is a discount!

No.  Religious persecution would be if you were prevented from practicing your religion.  Removing a statue does not in any way affect your right to practice your religion.

I'm an atheist, and even I don't see the point of removing the statue or renaming the town. Saint Louis was a good man who fed the hungry, clothed the naked, and helped the helpless.

Religious, historical, moral, and traditional, yes, of course.
