How do I show proof of income when employed for tax purposes?

I am a single/independent adult.  I have been taking care of a couple of personal issues.  One of which was to start a nonprofit organization in 2018, but did not generate much activities such as fundraising/grant awards. How do I show proof of income?

Fundraising and grants to your non profit is not income to you anyway.  What are you trying to prove income for?

    Step 1: HAVE an income.

Step 2: Nothing in your details even hints you attempted step 1.

Show the 1040 you filed every year.

So what have you been living on?

According to your posts, you left your job so there aren't any w-2s.

If you have been living off savings, that isn't income.  If asked, you show your bank statements.
