Why is Staph or Mrsa a lot scarier that Covid-19?

Im not sure why people are ruining lives and destroying a country over a virus with a 99.7 survival rate when if MRSA gets on you it will start eating your flesh. 

I seen someone get it on their face and it ate their flesh away to the skull. This individual was homeless so the wounds were infested with maggots. 

MRSA is a " super bug "

I had it one time on my stomach from a friend who had it. I did not touch them just something of theirs. 

It burrowed 7 inches across my stomach. 2 inches deep and the wound was full of puss constantly. 

I was told if it got into my blood i could be at risk of dying very easily. The docs said mine was heading towards my blood stream
