Is an iPhone 12 Pro Max a good gift for my 7 year old son?

He already has an iPhone 11 Pro Max, but he asked for an iPhone 12 Pro Max this year. Should I get it for him?

Does it have a SIM card?  Is he doing the online dating?  I mean these days you can’t be too sure.  He’s only 7 he’s not going to need a phone for a while i mean i haven’t changed my phone since the 8 came out and i’m still fine.

Are you freaking STUPID??? No child that age needs a phone. No child that age needs ANY electronics. Who the hll does he need to call? All you are doing is turning him into another tec-zombie that will never be able to think for himself as he grows up, NEVER MIND the creeps on the internet that troll looking for young children. Get that dmn thing away from him and  get your kid real toys for Christmas~ things that he can use to engage his mind, not deaden it. OMG I just don't understand people anymore.

No it's not a good gift, and no 7 year old child should have an iPhone.  I mean maybe there are some reasons, but I can't think of any.  Wait until the iPhone 24 comes out haha, seriously.  Just because he asked for it doesn't mean you have to get it for him.  If he seriously has an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it is working, I don't see why he needs the iPhone 12 Pro Max.  Why not wait another few years?  I'm sure a better iPhone will come along. ;) Tell him to go play outside and ride his bike around the neighborhood.  I know there's a pandemic and he may not be able to socialize as easily with other kids, but how about find him some non-technology related activities to do?

    Source(s): I think you're trolling 110%, but I'll answer anyways ;)
