Do I have diarrhea?

So, I've been having wet stools lately. I can't understand why because I've been eating bananas, broccoli, and other types of healthy food. I'm just scared because of all the paranoia surrounding COVID-19 right now. From my understanding, diarrhea is different from having loose bowel movements.

Update:

Ohh, and I've also been drinking loperamide, if it counts.

Update 2:

I felt like Gordon B has the most objective answer. Yeah, maybe it's because my diet's changed. And it is true that there are a lot of idiots and trolls online, but I don't think you are one. As for the doctor, I will try, but I made it a point to avoid hospitals for the meantime because of COVID-19 and the "new normal".

If you had diarrhea you would know and not need to ask.  It could just be a temporary reaction to a drastic change of diet.  I'm guessing as you mentioned what you were eating you have changed your diet.

If worried though see a doctor rather than asking random idiots like me online.

  • yeah, you should go to the doctor

THANK YOU FOR NOT INCLUDING PICTURES.

Diarrhea would be more liquid than a loose stool. If it's all fluid, drink plenty, Gatorade or the like and contact your Dr. Do not go to an ER, or the like.
