Do Democrats and Republicans always see two opposite realities   ?

People who lean to the right prefer to take things literally, so they deal with it by semantics and looking for loopholes. People who lean to the left prefer to take things figuratively, so they deal with it by facing grim facts. 

People who lean to the right believe that people are basically bad and corrupt, and destined to get worse, so you have to control them. People who lean to the left believe that people are basically good, and destined to get better, so you have to provide opportunity for people to excel. 

The only way the Right stays in power is by keeping "the little guys" in a state of dissatisfaction and unrest. 

"You want money? You want power? I can get if for you with the help of my 71 million basket of deplorables! They don't like each other much, but all I gotta do is throw 'em a bone now and then, and they'll believe anything I say." said Trump to the GOP.

Correct which is why America is as bad as it is. 

Democrats ,tend to see all sides of an argument  -- then act according to their prejudices ,no matter how irrationally.

Republicans ,tend to see only their prejudices -- and act accordingly, no matter how irrationally .
