Did you have pushy parents, pushing you into all kinds of "s-h-i-t"?

Yes, they tried, but I was very strong headed. I never did the crap, I did not want to do. Oh they pushed, threatened, even hit me, but I would not do it, if I did not want to. I knew what I wanted and I did it. I turned out just fine, better than the rest of the siblings that did what they wanted. I own my home, my 2 new cars, a very healthy bank account. A pension that id never have to worry when im older, and the best part is Im 100% debt free. I talk to my son, talk about what he wants, I give my opinion, no demanding. He is a good son, and he is on the right path to a very good future. No, my son is not pampered. We understand each other. Im very proud of my son and I know he will do whats right for himself.  My wife supports how we raised our son. She has trusted me all of these years.

I told my parents once, If they wanted me to do that crap so badly, they needed to go and do it themselves. I had better things to do, like set my future up to be a good one.   They wanted a sports star to brag about, I had better ideas. Parents living their life though their children's lives, suck.
