If a girl has a clean record where she has no arrests, and she marries a guy that has a lot of felonies on his record, are babies likely to have problems when they're born?

There are a few arguments made that some

genetic factors can drive a predisposition to

certain behaviors, passed from parents (with

    various factors determining recessiveness

versus dominance of those traits), but none

of that determines what problems babies

    have WHEN BORN. Congenital defects

like a weak heart or cleft palette don't

come from a parents past BEHAVIOR,

as far as is known today (not counting

what may happen due to chemical

exposures, such as those in a meth

    lab, for example).

no. just bring them up right.

were these felonies due to a psychological illness?

My gut feeling tells me that the given woman should marry someone else to begin with.
