I'd agree with your ##3 & 6 being on your list but Washington didn't do much except for being the first and Lincoln was bought by his supporters. He was, however, a very astute politician; issuing the Emancipation Proclamation kept the European powers from supporting the Confederacy. I'd rank Jefferson way up on the list, perhaps at the top: scientist, statesman, inventor. He also doubled the size of the USA. I understand that he was a personal S.O.B., though. Another of my choices would be unpopular: Nixon. Personally, he would rank near the bottom as a role model. However, he was second only to TR as a conservationist. Most of our environmental legislation dated from his presidency. Clinton, too, was a lousy role model but a fairly good president; who else, in modern times balanced the budget? Include Truman near the top? Maybe. Certainly better than do-nothing Ike and (probably) Reagan.
I'd have no trouble picking out worst president though.
