Actually, there are quite a few. First of all, we have learned to appreciate the medical professionals who have been a lifeline for many. Usually we used to take them for granted. There have also been many new small businesses started that we never had a need before. Amazingly there have been so many folks volunteering to help those in need. Americans have been very inventive in creating various ways to overcome the inconveniences of daily life. Lots of families have become closer being together so much, especially those with small children. Most folks have found inventive ways to keep busy & learn new things. I think the best thing though, is we are going to have a huge baby boom of brand new little ones to love. I personally have been keeping in touch a lot more with my family & friends, which I didn't do much of before. Rkl.

There is much less colds, sore throats and influenza, likely due to sanitary efforts and mask wearing.

I think there’s a lot of good things that came out of it.
1. I think we’ll be better prepared for the next pandemic. You can blame the national stockpile shortage on trump or Obama, but you can bet that the stockpile will never be low on supply ever again.
2. The world proved that it can make a vaccine in less than a year.
3. If the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine offer a permanent immunity, then mRNA is a new method to design a vaccine. In the past, it was either a dead or weakened virus that’s used to make a vaccine. mRNA could be the stepping stone to making vaccines for other diseases like AIDS.
4. If there’s another pandemic, I think most people are not going to complain if they have to wear a mask (as long as we have a president that doesn’t say otherwise. I think most people would wear a mask if Trump told America to wear a mask to be safe).

It's caused more awareness of hygiene, which will be beneficial in the long run. It's made lots of people more charitable; more likely to help strangers in need.
