Why is my stimulus $519.35 and not $600?

I just saw a pending deposit from the IRS for $519.35.  Why is it not a full $600?

Update:

Thanks everyone.  That makes sense.  I assume they base it on 2019 tax returns.

Because you made too much to get the full amount.

You must not be poor like me, I got the full $600. (well, its pending anyway)

I think they should give $2000 to those that voted for the sitting president. Those rioting will have to make do with $600.

It’s a sliding scale. If your adjusted gross income (AGI) is above a certain mark, you don’t get the full $600.

If your agi is 75,011 then you get 599. The more you make, the less you get.
