Why am I always shamed for playing old video games now?

Some people are just weird about being up to date and stuff. Just ignore them. If there are games that you enjoy playing, then frick it, that's what they're there for. Don't let anyone put you down for preferring the classics :)

You're pretty toxic honestly. You match the description of a "modern gamer" even though you play old games. There's nothing wrong with playing any kind of game. Black Mesa and Risk of Rain 2 are very good examples of a good modern game while Bioshock, GranTurismo 4 and Mortal Kombat 9 are good examples of old games. You're just an asshole about it.

I don't think playing old video games is a shame. 

When I was your age I ignored what games

other children wanted to do.  The girls all

liked the gemstones I'd found in rocks and

then had cut cut for polishing using some

lapidary tools my parents let me borrow.

Which is why as I say this all my fingers

have gold rings of emerald, ruby, etc.-etc.

Do as you please.  And look for diamonds.

It looks like quartz and also scratches glass

but will feel greasy.  They were taken out of

Canada and dumped with other gravel.

Find a big one and it has resale value.

Arkansas has a State Park where you

can go find free diamonds also.

It's the same reason why toxic PC gamers shame people for preferring consoles. They have nothing better to do... apart from maybe playing their game?!

just play them, who gives a crap what others think, me i'll play what i want, when i want, and don't give a crap what other people think....btw that goes for new games as well unless of course you're 30+ like me,  and playing games designed for 7 year olds...then all i can say is?,   well what do you expect?

listen i'd play the like's of red storm rising, tomorrow  woiuldn't bother me 1 iota  what frankly ignoramuses think..some i know are like that because they don't have the mental capacity to understand how to play it, which is pathetic.

Don't worry, you're not the only one. While I do enjoy the odd new game, I mostly play older games that I still really enjoy for pretty much the same reasons.

I don't fall for that productive member of society bs. All they want you to do is buy more schooling a d pay more taxes. What does being productive have to do with living a happy life?
