why do people think and believe that Republican Party is rich?

My friend family who is a middle class family always saying and out loud that republican party is rich.

    because most of the wealthy GOP types are out in public and among the people....

    most of the wealthy DNC elites lurk in the shadows or in predominantly-white private clubs and can't be bothered to walk among us commoners...

    Nobody thinks that, unless they  happen to live in a rich area, like ORange County, CA, or certain cities in Connecticut.
