There IS one where I live.

It is amusing in a pathetic sort of way that no-maskers have NO problem with "no shirt, no shoes, no service" even though of the three items, a mask is by far the east to remove when you leave a store.

most businesses want you to wear one because they will get fined by their states otherwise. they probably just added it to their health ordinances.

you aren't.  however -- your freedom is only on open to the general public lands owned by the public and your own property.  EVERY private property owner has the right to require you to either wear mask or stay off his property.  That's called private property rights, dude.

There is none at the Federal level. There may be at the local level.

I'm still not wearing one. Freedoms >>> fears.

It is called basic human decency to stop the spread.  Only useless pieces of chit who think of nobody but themselves would go out in public buildings without one.

Humanity requires it, otherwise you risk spreading a deadly virus that my aunt and many, many, many, others have died from.  My cousins having to lose their 55-year-old mother on Christmas Eve and having to relive it now every year at Christmas the rest of their life. Also imagine having to have a funeral that’s virtual only on New Year’s Eve where people can’t gather and hug one another.  All this because of selfish people that would not wear masks and thus spread the virus.

If you don’t like the mask then you’re really not gonna like the ventilator.

Depends on where you live, but public health laws and ordinances can often allow for mandating the wearing of masks while in public.  It turns out that there is legislation that supports the government imposing restrictions for matters of protection of public health.  I would have to know where you live to know exactly what the laws say and allow, but there are definitely laws that exist to cover this action.

Protection of public health and well-being is one of the primary duties of any government under the US system.  "promote the general welfare" is in the first line of the Constitution after all, and is given as one of the reasons for the creation of our government.

In my city you won't get served in a store without a mask. I have seen two people refused service for not wearing a mask.

Not wearing a mask is just saying you hate America and Americans...thats all.
