Im 23 had a license since i was 17. Had my first car at 19. My older sister has a license, my 20 yesr old brother has a license now and i have a license. And even my youngest brother that is 18 drove my santa fe and now he wants a license. But my brother who is 24, almost 25 will not get a license. He doednt even want to drive my car so idk if he even wants to drive. I told him the other day that even our youngest brother is about to be driving soon and hes the OLDEST brother and still wont drive, but he never responded. Isnt this sort of weird?

It floors me that some people don't want a license not do they have a desire to drive..But, there are a lot of people who get by just fine without driving.

Your brother DOES NOT NEED A LICENSE, you just think he does. My kids got their driver's licenses when they were 14.

What is weird is that you would post such a ridiculous thing online for the whole world to see.

He's a geek that probably lives his whole life in a city doing liberal things. Why be concerned?

When I was young, kids wanted to get a licence as soon as they turned 16. Being able to drive was freedom. It was cool and allowed you access to friends (and girls).
I am told that today, the driver of a car is no longer so cool , or free, or popular. The people who are cool, and free, and popular are the ones on their phone. The people driving are loners because they can not look at their phone.
If your brother has got along without driving up to now, he has control of his situation. Maybe he has no reason to drive, maybe he is cooler than you. Maybe it is his business (not yours)

My next younger brother was like that. He's super chill, not an anxious person or anything, but he said that driving, even the idea of it, gave him so much anxiety that he just wouldn't do it. I tried to get him to drive, teach him to drive, talk him into driving, but he just wouldn't have it. I just couldn't understand it because I took driver's ed when I was 15, the very first moment I could, and right when I turned 16, I got my license, bought a car with money I'd saved from mowing lawns and stuff, and then got a part-time job after school to afford the gas and insurance and stuff. To me, driving was freedom. I really couldn't understand how it wasn't the same for my brother, but it wasn't. And he never really needed to drive, always had a girlfriend or friends and so just went where they went and got his stuff done. Where he worked was only about a half a mile away, so he walked. Now, he's 33 and drives, but he didn't start until he was 28 when his wife made him learn when she got pregnant for my nephew and they started their family. She said that she wasn't going to be the only one to drive the kids around. So my brother, who managed to get through high school, college, and several years after college without a car in West Michigan where public transportation isn't really a thing finally learned how to drive.
Basically, your brother will start driving if and when he needs to. Until then, just let him be him.
