It all depends on who and what you are.

Nope.  That remains to be seen.  Nobody goes to heaven immediately upon death.  He goes to Paradise to be perfected and instructed.

God, through His promises, has prepared a place for me with Him in Heaven.  This is despite my being less than perfect in every way possible.

Have you got right interpretation of hell from the bible?

Considering hell is a translation of the Hebrew word "sheol" meaning the grave and the Greek word "hades" meaning the abode of the dead doesn't that make your question nonsensical?

The entire human race goes to hell at death because it is the grave and the ending of life.

On the other hand if you are interested in eternal life and having your sins forgiven by God then believe the gospel of Christ dying for your sins (1Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:7, & Tit 1:2)

You will then have a eternal life through the future resurrection from the grave/hell (1Cor 15:20-23 & Eph 5:14)

What does an unsaved person have to look forward to after they die in the grave/hell?

Answer: Another death called the second death in the lake of fire following the resurrection of the damned/unsaved (John 5:28-29 & Rev 20:13-15)

That is what the wages of sin means == death for the unsaved (Rom 6:23) not torture in a burning fire type chamber forever !

This is a permanent death meaning that person will never exist again.

Strangely I have been told by unsaved people that they prefer to keep living another existence in a eternal burning hell because at least they would still be alive !!!

Well...they wont get their wish because they won't exist again after they die a natural death and appear at the great white throne judgment.

Why AFTER I die?  Although I grant you, it will eliminate a lot of distractions.

After you die you are just dead.

No I have not. But I hope I do die soon etc. I'm the least oversmart people who exist. So it's okay . What is worse than death is being accused of wanting a happy life etc when one knows they don't deserve
