Is there any knee pain treatment except surgery?

Yes, there's lots of treatments available. A rheumatologist (joints specialist doctor) can provide all manner of knee treatments which don't involve surgery.
Also, you can try some home remedies:-
- apply some BenGay (topical pain relief) on the sore area, then wrap it with some plastic wrap (this increases the heat of the liniment which helps relieve the pain, but be careful not to burn your skin).
- if you need to kneel down, fold two sheets of bubble wrap into squares and tape in place with packing tape or sellotape, then tape them to each knee. Alternatively, sew a couple of extra pieces of fabric onto the knees of an old pair of pants (to make pockets) and slip a heavy duty scrubbing sponge in each one. This provides padding. Or you can get a couple of sanitary towels (in this case preferably the thicker ones) and stick them to the inside of your pants (so the absorbent side is against your skin.)
- rub some mustard over your knees, massaging it into your skin. Once it dries, rinse and repeat.
- heat two cups of uncooked rice in a microwave and pour into a clean, used sock. (not too compactly). Tie a knot in the end, and place the warm sock over the sore area for 10 minutes to relieve the pain. This works well because the sock conforms to your body shape wherever it's placed.
- apply an ice pack. If you don't have one, a bag of frozen food - like a bag of frozen peas or sweetcorn - works just as well. If you want to eat the frozen food, then do so after they thaw, never after refreezing. If you want to refreeze them for future use, label the back as ice pack use only.
Hope this helps

Steroid injected in the knee can help some people. One I had worked for a while the second one not so much. I do know a lady who had one steroid injection that kept her pain free for a year. For me with arthritis the only cure was knee replacement surgery. Not as easy ride but I was practically crippled.

Yes. Think about getting a neoprene support brace (there is a hole in it for the Patella. Also those little magnetic elastic straps that you wear just under the knee can help. So too can TENS (even a TENS pen). Then there is Acupressure which you can do yourself when you know where the pressure points are.

Yes, there is a solution which can help you in reducing your knee pain and make your knee smooth again as earlier. There is a therapy named 'Sahaj Therapy' which works on regenerative medicines, sharing the detailed link with you, hope you will find it useful - https://www.sahajtherapy.com/

Physiotherapy sometimes helps reduce knee pain, depending on why it is hurting. Arthritic changes to the joint can be treated with steroid injections though this is not a long-term solution. Weight loss eases the pressure on painful knees. Strengthening leg muscles can improve the support of the knee joint so it hurts less.
Minimally invasive treatments to 'flush the knee joint' have mostly been abandoned as ineffective though they sometimes have a placebo effect.

Take a high-strength Cod Liver Oil capsule daily. It worked for me years ago and is still working.
