It's not much of a benefit, but it makes us freer to do good to others in terms of time and money.
Marriage and parenthood, properly done, add entire dimensions to our live. God does not want us to remain shallow.

4. No more having to do dishes EVERY night
5. I can fold my laundry when I feel like it
6. I don't have to listen to nagging
7. I can drink three beers and a single scotch without hearing "Haven't you had ENOUGH"
8. I can read or play nintendo without "Why don't you spend time with meeee?"

Being single means you can devote more time to studying the Bible. You don’t have to worry about how your ministry affects family members

1) Spiritually speaking, what are the benefits to being single / unmarried?
The obvious:
- expenses are much less
- one can live as one wishes in one's own home (no compromising necessary, no arguments, etc.)
- no need to arrange cooperative schedules (for vacation, for example)
etc.
2) Follow up question for Christians: Is it wrong to not pursue marriage?
To the contrary
the Bible clearly recommends that a Christian live celibately
unless he or she is unable to do so
in which case the Christian should marry.
3) Asking since tomorrow is Singles Awareness Day.
???
There's a day?

It depends on the Lord's leading. An unmarried single can serve God more devotedly, have more time to serve in the church, and not be so bound in the flesh to please the husband / wife.
However, the single may be lonely in old age and may not have some people taking care of him / her.

St. Catherine of Siena would be a good saint to study. She was never married nor did she become a nun or a sister, though she lived in the 14th century when single women who didn't join convents were very rare.

The benefits being unmarried are you can go to Church! You have no one to wake you when late for work! You can buy animals the ones you like! You can stay up at night! Go without showering! Have a girlfriend
