Wrongful executions.?
Here in the UK there has been people wrongly executed for crimes they did not commit, the last one was Timothy Evans in the 1950s. Have there been many wrongful executions in the US?.

Sure it has happened - PLENTY of times!
HOWEVER far as I am concerned (I know a lot do not agree) ONE time is MORE than enough to put an end to it COMPLETELY AND PERMANENTLY!
Besides, there is NO proof it is ANY sort of a deterrent to anything! - It is more like revenge than justice! - EVEN if the guy IS legitimately guilty - it still makes the state a murderer (AND any individual that is involved) - PERIOD! (That includes any business supplying the means to do it, knowing what it would be used for.).

Of course there has been which is why countries that used the death penalty in the historic past stopped using it as it doesn't act as a dererant at all and even if ONE innocent person is killed it is one too many.

No, the American justice system is perfect. We saw how the UK abolished capital punishment 52 years ago and we have been laughing at you ever since. We know how to make baited arguments too.

While there have been, I do not think that there have been as many as people like to claim (especially without evidence).
