You are given the following:
r = 3x⁷y³ cm
And:
A = πr²
To find the area in terms of x and y, substitute and simplify:
A = π(3x⁷y³)²
To square that, you square each factor separately. When getting the exponent of an exponent it's the same as multiplying exponents. So this becomes:
A = π(9x¹⁴y⁶)
And put into some form of a standard form:
A = 9x¹⁴y⁶π cm²
