I have a rectangle labeled DEGF, and split the interior into 4 triangles. (FD=3x-7) and (EG=X+5) How would I find EG?

    diagonals are equal, so

    3x-7 = x+5

    2x = 12

    x = 6

    x+5 = 11 = EG
