Why soo many adults act like children and cannot accept the reality or others point of views?

Lol, the human condition I'm afraid.  Imagine the human species growing up, no violence/abuse/oppression/suppression/wars.

Its our egos, our inability to recognize our "reality" is not others', fear of what we don't understand and oh, did I say our egos?Hasn't changed in several hundred thousand years, but we can always dream, even better live our lives as models of the best of what we are capable of.   We can't change others, can only change ourselves.

sometimes children are able to be more tolerant of different point of view than adult ,some adults are even more narrow-minded than Children ,adult just know more in some field than Children ,of course ,if we can learn to be tolerant ,this society will not come to become like this now ,in fact ,sometimes we can put our argument down to some petty things ,
