A true follower of Christ actually does.To be Christian means to be Christlike. He left a model for us-1 Peter 2:21.

Some of us try to obey him. Some of us just cherry pick the Bible to agree with our beliefs.

In general, yes. Perfectly? No. Christians are human, and humans are not perfect. But we do our best to obey God's word, and become better at doing do over time.

Some do and some don't, just as Jesus predicted in Mt 7:21-23 and 25:31-46.
Some aren't even actually Christians (although they think they are), having never actually obeyed the gospel (2Th 1:8).
All struggle with sin, just like the apostle Paul did (Rom 7:15). True Christians however, confess and repent of their sins (Lk 13:3; 1Jn 1:9).

Perfectly? No. We all fall short of the perfect judgment of God. That is why we need a savior. That savior is Jesus, who lived a sinless life, was put to death for our sins as a sacrifice for them, and was raised from the dead after three days. Now he is our advocate. If we put our faith and trust in what he has done, our sins and imperfection is washed away. All that remains of our "good" acts, is actual goodness. So in this, by putting our faith and trust in Christ, yes, we follow Christ's word.

have experienced the Spiritual Realm, you no longer turn to the left, your
path takes on meaning. Now,your very life is constantly in danger. At first,
there are many bumps in the road but eventually, you realize that Life is
submitting to the will of God.
By God,I am referring to Jesus.
