What happens on first offence in Canada never been charged with anything In my life and this happened over Kijiji sale

    It depends on the offence, the age of the person charged. If the charge is laid under the Criminal Code of Canada the Criminal Code applies to all provinces and territories.  The same is true for the Young Offenders Act.  Each province also has a small claims court in which disputed bills and amounts are settled.  So it gets back to the type of crime and who is laying the charge. Civil cases have nothing to do with the Criminal Code of Canada.
