Jesus asked that question in Luke 6:46.

Because the average person simply does not want to we want what we want and we want it now.

They'd rather help the rich than the poor for some reason.

I think they stupidly think they'll be rich someday.

  • Today's Christians haven't "joined to His Spirit" (I Corinthians 6:17) by being "baptized into One Spirit" (I Corinthians 12:13) so they can receive "commandments through the Holy Ghost from Jesus" (Acts 1:4).

If they (((THINK))) (John 5:39) they can rely on (((A BOOK))) (II Corinthians 3:6) that catholics have written, little do they know they're "obeying the commandments of men" (Matthew 15:9) which is "the problem for Christians to simply do what Jesus commands of them."

"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the (((SIMPLICITY))) that is in Christ.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus [The LYING roman catholic church], whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him" (II Corinthians 11:3-4).

Don't you get tired of trying to think up so many variations on this question?  It's not fooling anyone.

    Christians have salvation.

but we must keep it by being diligent.

you seem to be a spam troll.

you do not know Jesus by the words and posts you share.

    so stop attacking believers.

There might be some Christians who have more problems than this or ones they do not want to admit.

It's hard for self-centered people to love others and show them compassion. They prefer to get judgmental and preachy, acts which feed their own feelings of superiority.

I don't have any problem at all obeying the commandments of Jesus. It is what I do as my primary reason for living, my greatest pleasure, the basis of my personal pursuit of knowledge, and the goal of my entire existence.

I do find it 'simple' too, now that I can see Christ's commands as a total system of living, rather than struggling against a tide of partial disobedience, which makes obeying individual commands seem more difficult than it actually is.
