    The X-Men series, as it was under Fox, is indeed finished, with Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants being the final films.

    Now that Disney has the rights to the X-Men, they will be introduced to the MCU in the future, with every character to be recast. So far, Disney has no X-Men project in production.
