Why shouldn't I question an entire system of belief no matter how you slice it, that creates trouble, problems and dead ends in life?

You go right ahead and question the entire belief system of politics. No matter how you slice it, it creates trouble, problems and kills (often innocent) people. Look how many millions have been sacrificed on the altar of War, all because of politicians claiming the war they started was 'justified' when most of them were just to grab land, money and more power for themselves! Disgusting!

I agree with you, and there is no reason why you 

should not question anything that you take exception to. 

Jesus Christ has never returned and stated 

that his "christianity" is what got him into Heaven. 

I have always questioned the validity and system of 

the christ-based faiths, based on this one single realization. 

"No one knows the day or the hour" doesn't cut it anymore.

Well, Sharon, you SHOULD question it.  But among your questions be sure to ask whether the benefits of a particular belief system outweigh its flaws.
