Why do Democrats forget that we are a Constitutional Republic, not democracy?

they hate the Constitution. Obama and Biden are using it for toilet paper. they want America to be a socialist/communist regime, where the Washington elites are in charge and everybody else gets scraps. case in point, this 1.9T "stimulus" bill.
