Do I have to exfoliate my skin before each application of fake tan? ?
So for example, if I apply my fake tan every day for about 4 days straight...do I exfoliate (and then moisturize) every day right before putting on the fake tan?

Yes, exfoliate for every application. A build up of dead skin cells or a rough surface can give you blotchy uneven results. Skin with a smooth and soft surface gives you a sooth and even color. I learned this one the hard way, I thought I could skip a step because exfoliating took too much time. Trying to get rid of blotchy fake tan on my arms too much, much longer.
