Christians, do imploding suns create blackholes?

Not many Christians are cosmologists. But given that cosmolo-gists (atheistic and theistic ones alike) don't yet know for sure how black holes are formed, nobody is going to be able to give you a definitive answer. Theories can be offered but in a few years time current theories will likely be replaced with more up-to-date theories. Why don't you ask this Q in the Science section where there might be a cosmologist or two floating around, waiting for a juicy Q to answer?

That is the current theory.
The Bible is a text on the subject of theology and philosophy. As such it really has nothing to say on the subject of science. Just like you would not expect to find chapters in a chemistry textbook on the subject of theology.
So whether the cause of blackholes is imploding stars or not has nothing to do with the Christian faith.

Once a large enough star can no longer maintain it's final stage equilibrium, yup. This has become basic information now a days though. Here's something pretty cool: it was recently observed the lack of supernova ejecta that appears to have been a collapse without even a nova event, suggesting a rarer size of star that was so massive it could not even explode.

Imploding stars above a certain size create black holes. Our Son doesn't have the mass however to become one.
