Why is that dude who massacred 10 people in Boulder still walking and breathing, please don't tell me they want to hear him confess?

To add insult to injury, they prepared an ER bed for him and asked him if he was ok before they laid him on the bed. I would normally support law enforcement, but this takes it too far. Who in their right mind treats someone who just shot and killed 10 people as a victim? 

All Americans have the right to a fair and speedy trial! He will get his day in court!

Same reason that freak who killed 8 people in Georgia is still walking and breathing. We're too hesitant to use deadly force against murderers. Unless of course they're the wrong color, in which case we've apparently forgotten how to spell "hesitant". And no, it's not about confession, they want to figure out his motives. Also, maybe they figure that death is too good for him, too easy. I'd have to agree.

Because that's how it works in the U.S.
