i had a big bust up with my sister she pisses me off big time, well things got out of hand she swore at me so i pulled her hair, she then told me to grow up so i punched her in the face, her lips begin to bleed and my parents went mad, they escorted me to my room took the key from inside my bedroom door and locked me in, they told me that violence is totally unaceptable, and i will serve at least one week locked up in my bedroom as a punishment IS THIS FAIR DO YOU AGREE WITH MY PARENTS ?

Um, none of our bedroom doors lock from the outside. That would be very concerning to me.

I don’t know how that punishment is going to make you understand what you did was totally wrong. I don’t see that punishment helping you to deal with your anger. I would be sending you to a therapist for anger management. 
And I would be seriously thinking about my family dynamics and how and why a child of mine got to the point where they would throw a punch when frustrated and angry.  
Knowing my husband, he would have you out of room and working in the yard or house with all your free time.

But unless this is discussed as a family and treatment for you is given, this will happen again.
