Titling an out of state car in indiana as a current/not new resident? ?

I just bought a car from Maryland, having it shipped today so I’ll get it in a few days, I have the title so I’m wondering what the requirements are to get a new Indiana title for the Car coming from Maryland. I see online a vin check is required, but how would I get the car to a bmv to do the vin check if legally it can’t be on the road without tags lol. I have a car that’s already IN registered, I was hoping to just transfer the tags but I’m more concerned about getting a title for the car

Either drive it there illegally and risk getting stopped, or have it towed there for inspection.

It should be obvious that you will have to drive the car to the DMV office.

The procedure is the same as if you had bought the car from an Indiana source
