Why are Democrats scared of having a secure election process?

The reason is simple. Demonrats cannot, and do not win elections on ideas. Their ideas are destructive to The United States and its economic and national safety and security. This has always been the case, and will be proven again in 2024. 

The Democrat Party has shown its true (racist) colors, and will lose big in 2024 because they can no longer hide their ideas and beliefs. If the 2022 mid-term elections and the 2024 elections are truly fair, honest and secure, Demonrats will be the big loser in both. 

Also, you are absolutely right about one thing. Showing a picture ID is not voter suppression, (unless you consider preventing illegal votes being cast to be voter suppression). It is an aid to insure a secure and honest election.

Because requiring ID would make voting as important as buying a six-pack at the grocery store or boarding a plane.  We have to keep things in perspective.

The Democrats cannot win if they do not cheat. It isn't a question if there is fraud, it is a question of how many elections were rigged by the Democrats over the years.

No, and that is the beauty of the scam.  "We aren't suppressing votes, we are just making sure people are who they claim to be".  But what happens at the voting place?  They look at the individual and if they fall in a particular category, that ID is refused.  Hey, he didn't look like his picture, or hey, that wasn't a state-approved hard-to-get ID so he must not be who he claims to be.

So sure, no one is against proving that a person is who they say they are, but they sure as heck don't approve of using that as an excuse to stop people from voting.

Besides, it is not as though there are actually people pretending to be someone else in order to vote. The problem that the new rules is supposed to be fixing does not exist, so it is very obvious that the purpose of the new rules is not secure voting.

You can claim all you want that it is all about voting security, but there is no voting insecurity (fraud) right now that needs to be fixed, so it is clearly and obviously not about voting security.
