When the 2nd Amendment was written, guns were big weapons. Now we have much better weapons, and so in the spirit of the 2nd Amendment everyone should be given a Nuclear bomb and a remote control to set it off. Then we'd have real political security!

Requiring to show an ID to vote puts a road block on voter fraud. Democrats can't have that.

The idea is that getting an ID can be restrictive to those without the means to go and obtain one. If you have the money to buy a gun, it's probably easy for you to get an ID.
I'm not opposed to voter ID, but I do think getting one should be easier. I've lived in three states, and getting an ID was a challenge in two of them.

Well, in the US state where I live, there is a bar code on the back of my driver's license. They scan that an affirm I am who I say I am. I really don't know about gun laws. That amendment should be cancelled, like the one abolishing Prohibition.
