We are afraid of the idiots conservatives who insist on having them by the truckload, and see any minor event as an excuse to buy them "to defend themselves", and would justify their presence by being overly trigger happy with them.

You are assume all are/want controls on them.

Just happens I am lib on a lot of issues - but DO NOT want more gun control - in fact I want a lot of controls already in place repealed - AND eliminate mandatory registration all together (no way to tell who has A weapon never mind what type) NO "Assault rifle" ban or cap on rounds a clip can hold, AND 100% legal to modify a weapon in any way the owner wants (including turn semi-auto into full-auto)

Far as I am concerned, that has NOTHING to do with lib or con politically - it's a constitutional RIGHT - so if that is what you REALLY want to do - it CAN NOT be legislated - it needs to be done with a constitutional amendment PERIOD - any control at all not done with an amendment is NOT constitutional - THAT SIMPLE!
