Anxious Covid vaccine was empty?
Hi I struggle with health anxiety and my recent fear is that my Covid vaccine syringe that I received was empty. I got it at a CVS and I’m not sure why I have this fear but I do and I saw that it happened to some people in Virginia. How do I deal with this health anxiety?
Just to clarify: I am far from a trump supporter and conspiracist - I’m pretty far left. I don’t believe they purposely did it rather than I am anxious about human error. My anxiety is terrible which is why I came on here to ask how to deal with it. I do appreciate the harsh honesty though it does help.

Talk to the pharmacist about it. If it was empty, you would likely be dead from an air embolism in your blood.

Retractable syringes are now a thing, or maybe theyve been a thing for a while. All I know is that it's for safety reasons. I have been a hypochondriac for 7 years and I understand your fear! But my friend got the vaccine and thought it was empty, because he had no pain at all... Until suddenly the pain In his arm came full force the next day.
You're gonna be okay, if it were empty, you would've had an air embolism by now. Stay safe!

Yes, this is a big problem in Virginia - fake shots. I'd suggest that you retain legal counsel and sue CVS. A good way to prove your lawsuit is to run around parking lots licking the handles of shopping carts. If you get Covid, the vaccine was fake or non existent.

It has not happened to anyone anywhere, even in Virginia.
They are trained to do it properly. This conspiracy nonsense is dangerous. The vaccine is saving lives.

Could you cite the source of it happening in VA? For what possible reason would someone inject you with an empty syringe?
There are things to worry about in life. This isn't one of them.

You saw nothing. It's ridiculous, no Nurse is going to put an empty syringe in someone arm.
These people are trained.
