what if I overfilled my oil in a 50cc 4 stroke scooter and started it before realizing? permenant damage? how likely?

    Depends on how long you ran it. My dad once overfilled the oil on a lawn mower. And there was oil coming out all the bolts it was kinda funny. I removed some oil but it's still leaking a little. Eventually we had to get a new lawn mower.

    How much overfill are you talking about?  500 ml?  Yes.  50ml?  No.

    Damage Not very likely if you quickly shut it down and removed the excess.
