Is it true Yahoo is shutting down Yahoo answers? Is it some April fools joke?
When yahoo groups shut down they give everyone months to save all their messages and stuff. But yahoo answers only give you a month. That seems odd and also why did this get posted in April not last month or next month? Is this some April fools joke? Why give yahoo groups moths but not yahoo answers? Yes only one month to save every thing. If yahoo does shut down yahoo answers, I will not use yahoo mail or flicker as they may be next to be shut down.
Is yahoo just going to be search engine? Will they shut every service down and only be search engine? This is very strange that this got posted in April, not last month or next month and so close to April fool jokes and only one month not like yahoo group that gives you some months to save every thing. I'm not sure if yahoo is serious or this is some April fools joke?

It got posted in April because this is when the decision was finally made.

Groups was given a month because there was much more content that people needed to save off... hardly anything worth saving here.
Yahoo search remains, as does news, finance, and everything else.
They may shut the rest down, someday... who knows.
