The only people who can believe that Bible verse, Galatians 2:19, are Christians who know by experience that, by Christ, "the world is crucified to me, and I to the world" (6:14). Since putting total faith in the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ as God's only way to be made right with Him, they know the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who gives them this assurance. I have that indwelling of the Holy Spirit, since becoming a Christian over 40 years ago, and that's why I believe it. But nobody without the Holy Spirit can believe it, or even make sense of it.
