Why does Yahoo want to ruin a good thing?

Years ago, Yahoo Answers was a great place to get answers for just about anything. But, every time something was working great, Yahoo would decide to change it. This kept happening until people just didn't want to use it anymore. A few years back, I would ask a question and within minutes I would have several answers. Mostly great answers. Now, you are lucky to get 2 answers and one of them being meaningful. All because Yahoo ran everyone off. Now, they want to close it down completely. If they would just bring back the format that they had 8 to 10 years ago, it could become great again.

Because Yahoo was bought by Verizon years ago. They did a poor job of running their own site, and Verizon had no interest in much of Yahoo but it came as a package deal. Verizon has been terminating a number of Yahoo services since the purchase (parts they have no interest in and that aren't money makers). The demise of YA was inevitable, and you can thank the site abusers for that. Those who don't play nice, ruin it for everyone.

    Because this site sucks now.

It's been a troll shrine for the past decade or so.
