Nasty, Vicious, Dishonest. What other adjectives sum up Christians?

Hateful, Bigoted, Racist, Misogynist, Judgmental, Pathological Liars, Trumpies, Greedy, Hypocrites, Brainwashed, Willfully Ignorant, Mindless, Science-haters, ChildAbusers & ChildRapists. I think that sums up the most significant descriptors.  By the way, don't blame me or get upset with me, I'm just reporting an accurate observation.  Christians are to blame for their own behavior.

Well, I'd say we are all the colors of the rainbow. Heck, you could say we are offensive, hateful, badgerers, liars, murderers, and just about anything else negative you want.

There is a common misconception among non-Christians in thinking that Christians think they are perfect but really aren't. In actuality, we are one of the few groups of people who know they are sinners.

We brand it upon ourselves and turn to Christ in thanks for his forgiveness because we -don't- deserve it. Many people (like you perhaps) think that we think we deserve it, and that isn't the case.

On the otherhand, through God's leadership, despite being sinners, sometimes Christians can be inspired to do many good things. Did you know that in most disaster relief cases, Christians are the ones who are there first? Why? Because we care about others in many cases, so don't also paint us wholly as monsters. We are trying our best, but we fail.

If you think about it, if our words are true, and we do have an enemy set against us who tempts us, it would make sense that Christians would be the more despicable, as we likely face twice the amount of torment and temptation that non-Christians do because of this! It's amazing that we aren't worse!

Daylily... "Forgiven, because Jesus died for our sins"

Oh BULLCRAP, daylily.  1. You have no evidence of that. It's just another one of your empty claims that you can't prove, but you think it makes you feel special and important.  You don't even live by Christ's NT teachings!  2. Jesus is fictional, it doesn't exist, and nobody has EVER proven otherwise.

Forgiven, because Jesus died for our sins, the ones we committed because we were nasty, vicious and dishonest.

Forgiving, because as Jesus forgives us, we learn to forgive others when they are nasty, vicious and dishonest.

It's good to learn that when we guess at attributes of total strangers we know little about, then 'projection' (psychological) is always involved.  Anyone doing so would be just 'projecting' onto that stranger one's own personal attributes one doesn't admit to having.

This is why the classic wisdom from many traditions is to first look more carefully at oneself.
