When did passing a counterfeit $20 bill become a capital offense or is that only when a black person does it?

It was never proved that the bill was counterfeit. A story I heard was that the store owner said that normally, employees will try to handle the situation themselves. In this particular case, it was a new employee and the employee over reacted by calling the police first. It makes me wonder if this employee would have called the police if this hadn't been a black man or if it had been a woman.

Here you go again, liar liar pants on fire. Floyd was lawfully placed under arrest for passing the fake bill and disturbing the peace inside that store. He refused to get into the cop car and it took 4 cops to put that big dumba ss on the ground. If Floyd had cooperated, instead of resisting arrest he would be alive today, still being a petty criminal probably. Chauvin should not have stayed on Floyds neck though, but that doesn't relieve Floyd of the share of responsibility in his own demise.

The same time resisting arrest with violence became an offence.  Sorry for making you cry.

It isn't.  But the police are allowed to detain someone while investigating a crime.  The resistance to that detainment was the problem, not the counterfeit bill.

it isn't.  on the other hand, resisting arrest with violence is -- since the police do not yet know how armed the suspect is, they do the safe/prudent thing and shoot him dead

Police are itching for an excuse to shoot people now a days. And if your black your twice the target if the police officer is white.  But the same holds true for a black police who arrests a white.
