Does it sound like I was condoning being irresponsible during covid?

I was talking to my friend on playstation, and told him my nephew (who doesnt live with me) that he dropped off a recliner at my house, and gave it to me. I like the recliner, but I don't agree with him walking into someone else's house during a pandemic, without a mask on. I made it sound to my friend like I condone that behavior, because I said I liked the recliner, and made it sound funny when my nephew just showed up in my house. Im afraid I somehow made my friend think its okay to do that stuff.
