My baby was sleeping in his crib for nap time & at least for half the night, but now I can't get him to stay in his crib! We just got back from a vacation & because of how cold it was at my mom's he ended up sleeping w/ me most of the time. Now he won't even lay down for a nap. I nurse him & once he starts falling asleep, I will lay him down. He immediately wakes up & starts to cry!

I am not sleeping well & neither is he! Please help!

I was decorating a cake today & noticed there was a "sale by" date on the food coloring. How much after that date can I use it? Does it really matter, I never noticed it before... and I know I've kept food coloring for years before I've finished it off.

My husband is currently on a VERY strict weight loss diet and it is ending this Friday. There is a 3 week stabilization period where he cannot have any starches. I want to be sure to follow the diet and help him, but cannot find a specific list, just mostly the affects of carbs etc.

I found a web-site a few days ago that had a home remedy colon cleanse, but my husband switched out our computers and now I don't have the web site. Try as I might, I can't find it again, and it sounded like it would work pretty well (and it was simple & safe).

I remember it only had a few ingredients, I think water & good gray sea salt, but I don't remember proportions etc.

Can anyone help me out?

Maybe I am missing something, but I can't find the info anywhere in the instructions. The last time I did waffles, they didn't turn out great (I just guessed). I couldn't find anything on the internet either...

Anybody else have suggestions?

My 4 year old is very hard on toys. Just in the past 4 days he has broken 3 toys! The problem comes in that most of the toys he ends up breaking are not his, but either his little brother's or sister's.

We have tried taking away priviledges, time outs, reasoning... I'm just not sure what to do. How do I teach him to respect other people's things?

My 7 mo old has had acidy, runny stools since last night. Every diaper I have chaged today has been poopy, and they are acidy enough that his little bottom is bright red.

A few days ago he had a fever and was really cranky and just not himself... I was going to call the Dr. the next day, but the fever broke & he was fine. I chalked it up to teething, but now this w/ the diarhia. No fever this time.

I have to bake 40 potatoes for a family party tomorrow. I have never done potatoes in the oven... Can some one tell me the easiest way to do this. At what temp should I cook them & for how long, etc.

I've had my ears pierced since I was 2 years old and have never had a problem w/ infections in those piercings (I am 30 years old).

I recently had a baby, so fast is the best for me & I left the same earrings in for a week or 2. My ears started to bother me this morning so I took them out & they were covered in black gunk and my eas were red! YUCK!

I have never had this happen before, not sure how best to get rid of the infection... What exactly did I do wrong. I've left earrings in for longer before w/out any problems.

It's been a hot spring w/ very little rain... We live in a rental unit & our lawn has a large portion which is weeds instead of grass anyway, but the parts that are actually grass are scorched and browning... Is there any way to revive the lawn w/out spending a lot of $$$?

Lately I have been experiencing some abnormal discharge and a few other symptoms. I looked them up on the internet and they are some of the symptoms of cervical cancer. I am going to call my CNM tomorrow, but was curious about some of the things that the web-sites had mentioned.

Is it true that the only way to get rid of it is to have a complete historectomy? I am only 29 and my husband & I still plan on having 2 more children... This is very scary to me. Does anyone have any experience w/ this?

I've looked around on the internet & I know I could probably buy one used on e-bay. I'm looking for my 3 year old son, so I'd prefer something new, but haven't really seen any lately. I know Care Bears have become popular again, and he's fascinated w/ them, so I think it would be nice to get him a little stuffed animal to play with.

I have a neighbor who lives directly in back of us, they have 4 miniature schnausers who bark NON STOP! It's very annoying and especially bad when I am trying to get my kids down for a nap and sometimes even bed... Any suggestions on how to approach them about it?

He started getting interrested when he was 2 but since his baby sister was born (she's now 1 yr) he won't have anything to do w/ the toilet. We've tried videos, potty chair, rewards (including candy)... I would love to enroll him in the 3 yr old pre-school program this fall but he has to be potty trained.

Just wondering how soon is too soon for a child to understand a time-out.
