Hi everyone I am a 20 year old catholic girl. I am currently in my first relationship of 4 months with a christian boy. He is good to me, treats me right, tells me he cares about me and doesnt want to lose me..he doesnt even focus on sex with me. Of course, me being catholic and in my first relationship, I am still a virgin but he isnt. Everything is fine. except for one thing...my mother. She is a traditional woman. She pressures me to find a catholic guy because someone of a different religion will cause problems. She tells me she cant believe I dont care about religion and Im too naive to understand and she gets mad at me.The big thing is, he was born and raised a catholic but turned into a christian about 2.5 years ago. My bf has tried to conversate with her, and they do, but my mom does not accept him for the fact that he is of christian religion and doesnt have the same traditional background as us. He is a devouted Christian and strongly believes in god. I keep explaining to my mom that Catholicism is ( and is similar to) Christianity but she is convinced otherwise. She doesnt hate him, she just thinks I can do better. what should I do? is my mom right?

I am 20 yrs old. I know anorexia is bad but Im tired of food.I want to eat only little quantaties and light healthy foods. I currently weigh 185 and I gained 5 lbs since i got into my 1st relationship 2 months ago. In highschool I used to weigh around 220-227. Even though I lost all this weight I still feel fat and Im depressed that I gained 5 lbs. Im not 100% sure but my 1st month of the relationship has been stressful but i dont know if the 5lbs ae from stress. Not only that but my mom rubs it in my face that shes beating me in losing weight from having my baby brother last November. I go to college and Im currently taking 2 pe classes. I also started running a mile on the track about 3 times a week. How do I stop eating and being a fat *ss?

Im 20 and I have never really considered myself "hot" or "sexy"...I know Im somewhat attractive. Thing is, guys do think Im good looking and I see guys looking at me whenever I dress up. But I feel ugly. I was overweight my entire childhood and I was called "fat", "ugly", and when guys were asked if they would date me theyd say "eww". It wasnt until college that I began loosing weight and guys started noticing me more. The thing is, even though I changed my outside I am still the same person on the inside; insecure, self-concious, somewhat low self esteem. I also just got my first bf and it bothers me when he looks at other girls INFRONT of me, he even tells me "shes hot", and when he does I feel like he doesnt like me anymore. He calls me "gorgeous", "beautiful" ,"pretty", but he says "shes hot" so many times that I dont even feel special. Ive talked to him about it and he apologized. Am I over exaggerating? How do I get over my insecurity? Im tired of being insecure.

She says I could anywhere I want with a guy during the daytime but once it hits 10pm I have to be home. Her concern here is that we ll have sex and shes doing EVERYTHING in her power to prevent that from happening...basically, she keeps me on a leash. Firstly, me and my bf agreed to take it slow and the most we ve done is make out with NO inappropriate touching. I remind my mom that if we really wanted to we would have already done it during the day, no problem. Ive tried talking to her, but oh boy, shes a mother.
