2 AnswersCycling8 years agoWill a Scorpion 900 helmet's sun visor fit an Exo-1000 helmet?
I can't find a dark smoke tint sun visor for my Exo-1000 Scorpion helmet. Wondered if the 900 helmet sun visor would fit it. I'm talking about the Speedview Sun visor not the face shield.
2 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoWhy when you change a motorcycles air filter and exhaust you need to re-jet the carb and on a car you don't?
Even if the motorcycle is fuel injected they recommend you re-jetting; but, for a car or truck or something like that you don't have to do this?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade ago'74 Honda Z50 is popping in high Revs, why?
I just put on a new brand new 88cc piston upgrade and it has a 20mm carburetor and a bigger oil pump too. I start it and it idles just fine. Once I put it gear and give it gas, a popping noise happens repeatedly until it simply idles again. Any ideas? Thanks.
1 AnswerMotorcycles1 decade agoCan a stock '74 Honda Z50 transfer case(short stroke) and a E22 head except something higher than an 88cc kit?
I don't want to change the transfer case and I don't want to bore it out. Thanks for any heads up.
2 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoWhere can you take jet ski's that don't work anymore? ?
I've tried calling "1800GOTJUNK" and the local Dump, even tried listing them on Ebay. They are completely dead and way to expensive to bring back to life. Any ideas would be great.
6 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoWhy is gasoline, heating oil, natural gas all prices going up, but not motor oil?
Maybe I shouldn't ask... But we all are suffering from energy prices going up and up, yet when I went to buy some motor oil for an oil change the prices of oil is relatively the same as it always was.

A 250cc motorcycle has much larger wheels than that of a 250cc scooter, why is that?
4 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoHonda V-Tech engines, why have them?
Why do they have V-Tech's when alot of people don't drive in a way that would engage the V-Tech? I understand with Sport compacts and such a V-Tech is a great thing to produce some numbers. It's my understanding if you don't have the engine at least to 5000+ RPMs the V-Tech doesn't even engage. Is this correct?
6 AnswersHonda1 decade agoNew carb, it bogs down at full throttle, is this a jet problem?
This is on a Honda '74 - z50, I have the E22 race head and up the cc to 72cc with a piston change and a full race cam with 6mm cam lift. I added a new carb from 17mm to a 20mm for more power.(Speed hungry) When I go and give it full throttle the engine just bogs down like it's going to die. This happens in every gear plus neutral. I played with the adustments currently on the carb and found nothing to help.
If you don't give it full throttle you can certainly feel the difference in power from the old carb. Any ideas would be great. Oh I live in Maryland. I've done all the mechanics on the bike so just give to me straight.
If it is a jet issue how do you know which size jet to use?
4 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoBest way to clean a non removable helmet liner?
I have an Icon Mainframe helmet and it smells really bad. I did take out the cheek pads and washed them. I heard you can put your whole helmet in the dishwasher, does this work? Any ideas would be great.

This is for a 2001 Saab with tires that are just 2 years old.
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoIs there a particular 17 inch tire that has tread life that lasts 50K miles like your normal 15 & 16 inchers?
I have a Honda Civic and want to make it a tuner car at the same time it will be an everyday driver and I tend to drive alot of miles. It's a 2003 and I have 115K miles on it already. I was thinking stick with 16's and a nice high mileage tire but if there are any 17's I would really look into it. All I can find is that those and bigger sizes only last about 20k. (Understandable, they tend to have softer rubber to stick to the road and is a thinner tire.) My car is paid off and I don't want another car payment @ the moment.
2 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoWhat brands make womens cycling road shoe in a US womens size 4?
I know, I know it's freagin' tiny, but there has to be small footed cyclists out there that have this problem. I'm looking for a teammate of mine. Perhaps children sizes? I did find the size in a mountain shoe, but she needs a road shoe. Thanks for any help.
1 AnswerCycling1 decade agoHave a 1974 Honda z50, I got to lean over the bars so the bike doesn't jerk once putting it in 1st. Why?
Everything is pretty much rebuilt on the bike, except the clutch. It still has the original (3) speed, automatic Clutch. Once you get it in the 1st and after the intial jerk all is good.
5 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoI have a riding lawn mower, is it bad to use that Fuel system cleaner you can put in the gas tank?
My Tractor is a John Deere and I'm talking about the engine cleaner you would put in a car gas tank. You know to clean Valves and such. Can I add the same stuff to my tractor? Just wondered.
